Dr. Allwin George is a Consultant Medical and Haemato-Oncologist practising in Kannur and Taliparamba, Kerala. His primary full-time appointment is at AKG Memorial Co-operative Hospital, Kannur, where he has worked as a Consultant Medical and Haemato-Oncologist since January 2024. He also provides consultation and clinical services at Chaithanya Hospital, Kannur, and Co-operative Hospital, Taliparamba.

He completed MBBS followed by MD in Radiation Oncology at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore. He subsequently completed the three-year DM super-specialty programme in Medical Oncology at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, a premier quaternary-care teaching institution.

Across the institutions where he has trained and worked, Dr. Allwin George has been involved in the care of patients from varied socioeconomic, cultural, geographical and linguistic backgrounds. His clinical experience includes common, complex and advanced solid tumours and haematological malignancies.

His background in both Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology provides an understanding of multidisciplinary cancer treatment, including the appropriate integration of surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy and supportive care.

He has also participated in bedside clinical teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical trainees during his senior residency and institutional appointments.
